      <image:title>About - About me</image:title>
<image:caption>Hello. My name is Nayla Fayoumi. I am currently pursuing my MA in User Experience (UX) Design at the London College of Communication, graduating in January 2021. I graduated from the Lebanese American University of Beirut with Honors in BS (Hons) Graphic Design in 2014. I joined the advertising world for four years and nine months where I worked as a freelance Art Director in Leo Burnett for a period of two months then moved to Impact BBDO for four years and nine months as a graphic designer then art director. I worked closely with copywriters, account managers, and creative directors. I managed three graphic designers in the ideation process of online digital campaigns, and in design presentations for clients and pitches. I was an art director for three creative teams of ten members each. I built experience in design strategy, creative development of ad campaigns, and digital illustration. I was responsible for the conception, design, and execution of visuals used in online digital innovative media and print advertising for the MENA region. I worked for multinational clients (PEPSI.CO, Allianz SNA, Imperial Tobacco Group (ITG), Audi F.A Kettaneh, Bledina, and regional clients (Mobily Telecom (KSA), Tawuniya Insurance (KSA)). My strengths lie mostly in strategy, research, design, and illustration. I am passionate about exploring the co-existence and relation between user behaviour and digital technologies through design. I enjoy reading social books, listening to pop music, and painting and illustrating in my free time.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - Designing the discovery of London's Cultural Richness - Subtractive color model</image:title>
<image:caption>I have started by using the subtractive colour model based on the CMYK colour model as a metaphor, where colours are masked entirely or partially on a white background. Through this insight, I was trying to understand the relationship between things that can cause a subtraction to occur.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - Designing the discovery of London's Cultural Richness - Language - Series of Tableaux</image:title>
<image:caption>We thought ‘the language’ theme was huge considering the limited time we had for this project. Therefore, we focused on subtracting one aspect of that matter, the ‘I’ of the self to create ‘togetherness’. The reason behind this choice is that people would only be bound together, limited to one space if they had no self-definition.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This concept conveys the disruption of the sequence of the ‘9 AM to 5 PM’ working life individuals have. One way of doing so was to rip off the archaeological layer (street) from the culture mile area and create green spaces for people to lose their self of ‘I’ and interact with each other through ‘play’ which would make the city more enjoyable.</image:caption>
